Tray Deaerators
Tray Deaerators are considered the ultimate in Deaerators. Tray-Counterflow deaerators typically have lower turndown and are more forgiving during operation fluctuations and load swings. In addition Tray Deaerators ( counterflow only not parallel down flow types) meet the requirements of the Heat Exchange Institute HEI as the oxygen only comes in contact with the Stainless Steel Tray Box and not the pressure Vessel, resulting in a longer life. Tray Deaerator turndown is to Zero% of Max Load and will achieve 7PPB under all circumstances.

Single Vertical Tank

VT – VERTICAL TRAY DEAERATOR (SINGLE VERTICAL TANK)

  • VT PKG – Vertical “Tray” Deaerator w/ Pump Package – Capacity: up to 75,000 #/HR Standard Units; Custom Units: up to 800,000 #/HR.
  • Application: Power Plant Quality, can be designed to HEI requirements, tray unit with minimal plan area, maximum turndown and a longer life.

  • TC PKG – Tank Car “Tray” Deaerator w/ Pump Package – Capacity: up to 125,000 #/HR Standard Units; Custom Units: up to 250,000 #/HR.
  • Application: Used in all areas where high quality and Power Plant grade is required. Can be designed to HEI requirements, long life and low turndown.

  • Application: Can be designed to HEI requirements, tray unit shipped in two pieces for easier transport and installation. Power Plant quality good for utilities, central stations, etc.
